Make Your Husband Happy Tonight: Take Him to Dogfish Head Alehouse
We actually think that we found a place that would please your entire family. It is Dogfish Head Alehouse, owned and operated by the same company that brews; you guessed it Dogfish Head beer. We recently visited the Falls Church location and we became extremely pleased with the quality of service, ambiance, food and of course the beer.
First the beer. We tried all kinds of beer including the Raison D’Etre which was voted American Beer Of The Year for 2000, seasonal and fruity Festina Peche which is Weisse beer fermented with Peaches, Punkin Ale which is a full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. But our favorite was the Shelter Pale Ale which had a “fine malt backbone and a slightly nutty flavor.” The great thing about this place is that they will let you taste any beer on tap until you find the one you really like.
