Spring is the season for bunnies, and bunnies like their hops. That's why we've got a rabbit on our seasonal Aprihop, and we can promise that it's hoppin'. Not only that, but it has apricots to bring out the citrus of the Northwest hops in every bottle. But don't let that scare you if you don't like fruit in your beer. We like to think of our Aprihop as a fruit beer for people who hate fruit beers.
This American IPA uses Pilsner and Crystal malts, and is hopped pretty much from cradle to grave. We take it overboard on the Amarillo hops, and that's what you smell as soon as you crack open a bottle. Take your first swig and there's an assertive bitterness smoothed out with just enough sweetness and body from the malt and apricots.
We've been brewing Aprihop for your enjoyment every spring for years and it's been a standout hophead beer every time. It's as thirst-quenching as the fresh-melting snow. Better, really, because you know your dog hasn't stepped in it.
Aprihop is in season through May, so check out the fish finder to see where you can pick up yours. Or stop by the Dogfish Head Alehouse, and enjoy all the great craft beers we offer.
